Our Founder
Patricia Barganier is a former Partner and National Director of Unclaimed Funds at Ernst & Young and founded Barganier in 2004, bringing her broad range of services and solutions to unclaimed funds management.
With 28 years of experience, 14 come directly from public accounting and consulting with a focus on unclaimed property. Patricia, as a proven subject matter expert in corporate compliance best practices, has fostered relationships with state administrators that have helped her create a legacy of excellence that spreads far beyond her Jackson Hole headquarters and apply directly to her clients.
Using her own proprietary data analytics software, Patricia has a proven track record of legally diminishing and resolving unclaimed property for her clients, but most importantly, she has used it to predict future reporting for resolution on an annual basis. This has allowed Patricia and her clients to strategize for the future with hard data and not expert assumptions.
With her proven legacy of top tier consulting, Patricia provides an in depth, practical approach to operational solutions with the goal of meeting and exceeding ROI for Barganier clients. To add to that legacy, Patricia has been quoted in USA Today, Business Week, Tax Analysts and is a frequent speaker on unclaimed property for state legislature committees and professional organizations around the United States.
As a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelors of Accounting and a Masters in Taxation, she is a long standing member of the Unclaimed Property Professional Organization and the National Association of State Treasurers, receiving a national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise in 2006.
